Godin built the Multiac Encore Nylon for players who need real nylon-string character to survive a loud stage without howling feedback. At its heart is a Fishman-designed Blendable Dual Source System, pairing an undersaddle pickup with an acoustic soundboard transducer. A blend slider lets you dial in the mix between the two sources, so you can shape everything from a woody, resonant acoustic voice to a punchier, more direct plugged-in tone.
The guitar’s construction reflects that same live-performance focus. A chambered silver leaf maple body is topped with solid cedar, giving the instrument a lively, responsive top without the bulk or feedback issues of a traditional hollow nylon-string. A mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard round out the feel, while the 25 1/2-inch scale and 1.9-inch nut width strike a comfortable middle ground, easing the transition for steel-string electric players who want convincing nylon tone without relearning their hand position entirely.
Onboard controls give you real tonal control at the source: volume, treble, mid, bass, and blend sliders let you shape the sound before it ever hits a DI or amp. Graphtech nut, 22 frets, a 16-inch fingerboard radius, and 16:1 tuning machines round out the build details.
