Description
The Godin MultiAc Nylon Encore bridges the gap between classical warmth and electric guitar practicality. Its 25 1/2″ scale length and comfortably narrow 1 7/8″ nut width make it an easy instrument for steel-string electric players to pick up without relearning their hand position, while the 16″ fingerboard radius keeps chording and single-note lines fast and fluid.
Tonally, the chambered silver leaf maple body paired with a solid cedar top gives the Encore a resonant, articulate voice, and it’s built to hold up under bright stage lights and heavy amplification. That’s largely thanks to the custom EPM-designed Blendable Dual Source System, which pairs an under-saddle transducer with an acoustic soundboard transducer. Players can dial in and blend both signals using onboard sliders for volume, treble, mid, bass, and blend, shaping a natural nylon-string tone that stays clear and controlled even in a loud band mix with minimal feedback.
Rounding out the build is a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, giving the guitar a smooth, familiar feel for players coming from the electric side of things. Includes a gig bag, and a left-handed model is also available.
