Description
Godin built the Multiac Grand Concert SA around a simple idea: give classical players an electric that still respects the classical hand. The chambered mahogany body pairs with a solid cedar top for a warm, resonant acoustic voice, while the mahogany neck meets the body at the 12th fret in the traditional classical style. At 2″ wide at the nut, the neck is noticeably roomier than Godin’s standard Multiac, giving fingerstyle and classical players the spacing they expect from a nylon-string instrument, all along a 25-3/5″ scale.
What sets this guitar apart is what’s under the hood. Godin’s custom RMC electronics include a 13-pin connector that plugs directly into Roland GR Series and Axon AX100 guitar synthesizers, letting classical and nylon-string players step into synth textures, layered patches, and hybrid rig setups that were previously the domain of steel-string electric players. It’s a genuine bridge between classical technique and modern electronic performance.
