The Redondo Player trades the traditional dreadnought silhouette for Fender’s exclusive slope-shouldered Redondo shape, and the payoff is a big, commanding low end that pushes sound into every corner of a room. Finished in gloss Belmont Blue across the top, back, and sides, with a matching painted 6-in-line headstock and cru00e8me binding, it’s built for players who want their acoustic to look as loud as it sounds.
Under the hood, the construction is anything but ordinary. A solid spruce top pairs with laminated mahogany back and sides, while optimized internal bracing cuts unnecessary mass and lets the top breathe for stronger resonance and sustain. A Graph Tech NuBone nut and saddle add clarity and sustain at both ends of the string path, and the onboard Fishman preamp lets you plug straight into a PA or amp without stripping away the natural acoustic character.
The mahogany neck wears a slim-taper “C” profile in a smooth satin finish, easy on the hand whether you’re strumming through a set or working out lead lines on the walnut fingerboard. That walnut board and matching Modern Viking bridge bring extra brightness and definition to the tone, balancing out the mahogany body’s warmth.
