The Fender Paramount PM-1 Dreadnought is a left-handed acoustic built entirely from mahogany, giving it a warm, midrange-forward voice that suits fingerstyle and strumming alike. The open-pore top is paired with scalloped “X”-bracing, letting the wood breathe and respond with plenty of dynamic range, while the satin finish keeps the appearance understated and organic rather than glossy.
Details borrowed from vintage designs give the PM-1 real character: a Fender ’60s checkerboard rosette, aged white/black/checker/black body binding, and a tortoiseshell pickguard all add visual interest without overdoing it. The mahogany neck carries a comfortable “C” profile, a 25.3″ scale, and a rosewood fingerboard with a 15.75″ radius across 20 vintage-style frets, making it equally at home for chord work or lead lines up the neck. A bone nut and dual-action truss rod round out a neck built for stability and feel.
