The CD-140SCE All-Mahogany takes the CD-140SCE formula and dresses it entirely in mahogany, giving it a darker, more focused character than its rosewood-backed siblings. The solid mahogany top pairs with mahogany back and sides to produce a punchy, midrange-forward tone that cuts well in a mix and holds up under a strumming hand or fingerstyle picking alike.
Built on Fender’s single-cutaway dreadnought body, the guitar offers the big low-end projection dreadnoughts are known for, while the cutaway keeps upper-fret access open for lead lines and solos. The neck is shaped for comfort across playing styles, so whether you’re chording through a set or working out a melody, it stays easy under the hand. A walnut fingerboard rounds out the neck with a smooth, tactile feel.
Plugging in is handled by upgraded Fishman® CD electronics, giving the CD-140SCE All-Mahogany a reliable path from unplugged practice sessions to full-volume stage work.
