The Jackson X Series Soloist SLX DX Camo is proof that fast, aggressive guitars don’t need to break the bank. This double-cutaway workhorse is engineered for players who chase speed, sustain, and rock-solid tuning stability night after night.
At its core sits a contoured poplar body mated to a through-body maple neck reinforced with graphite for extra stiffness, joined via a tilt-back scarf joint headstock. The 24-fret laurel fingerboard uses a compound radius that runs 12″ at the nut and widens to 16″ near the body, so chords stay comfortable up top while low bends glide freely without fret-out lower down. Pearloid sharkfin inlays mark your position along the way.
Active Jackson covered humbuckers drive the electronics with a high-output, full-bodied voice suited to searing leads and heavy rhythm work alike. A three-way blade switch plus single volume and tone knobs keep the controls simple and immediate. Anchoring the whole system is a Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo, giving you dramatic pitch dives and returns without losing tune.
Finished in eye-catching Multi-Color Camo or Winter Camo with a matching camo pointed headstock and black hardware throughout, this Soloist looks as combat-ready as it plays.
