The Pro Plus Series Dinky DKA is Jackson’s answer for players who need a guitar that keeps up with fast, aggressive playing without fighting back. Its arched okoume body is light and resonant, paired with a bolt-on neck built from five plies of maple and walnut for extra stiffness and sustain. Graphite reinforcement inside the neck keeps things stable under heavy string bending, while the sculpted heel joint opens up access to the upper frets for solos that climb the neck without obstruction. Flip it over and you’ll find a hand-rubbed oil finish on the back for a smooth, fast-feeling grip, plus a heel-mount truss rod wheel so you can dial in relief without removing the neck.
Up top, a 12″-16″ compound radius ebony fingerboard hosts 24 jumbo stainless-steel frets, giving you low action and effortless bending whether you’re chugging rhythm parts or shredding leads. Offset pearloid dot inlays and Luminlay side dots keep you oriented even under dim stage lighting. Tone comes from a matched pair of direct-mount Seymour Duncan humbuckers — the JB in the bridge and the ’59 in the neck — controlled by a single volume, single tone, and five-way blade switch for a full range of pickup combinations. A Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo keeps tuning rock-solid through dive bombs and aggressive vibrato work.
Rounding out the build: a pointed 6-in-line headstock with matching finish, all-black hardware including sealed die-cast tuners, and Jackson locking strap buttons.
