Some guitars just sound like rock and roll the moment you plug in, and the Standard Stratocaster is one of them. Fender took the Strat’s timeless formula and dressed it up with a few vintage-flavored touches: a tinted satin neck, parchment pickguard and knobs, and a 70s-style headstock logo that give this one an aged, road-worn character right out of the case.
Under the hood it’s all business. An alder body pairs with a Modern C-shaped maple neck (9.5″ radius, 241mm) and 21 medium jumbo frets for comfortable, fast playing across the fretboard. Three ceramic-magnet single-coil pickups run through the familiar 5-way blade switch, covering everything from glassy bridge twang to warm neck tones and the in-between quack Strats are known for. Master volume plus two tone controls (neck and middle) keep shaping simple and intuitive.
A vintage-style synchronized tremolo with a high-mass bridge block delivers smooth pitch bends while holding tuning stability, backed by Fender/Ping sealed tuning machines and chrome hardware throughout. The body cavities are shielded to keep noise down, and it ships strung with Fender Super Bullets (.009-.042) so it’s ready to play the moment it’s out of the case.
