Description
The Stratocaster set the standard for electric guitar tone back in 1954, and this American Professional edition carries that legacy forward without reinventing what already works. It’s built in the USA with an alder body finished in gloss polyurethane and a striking Natural finish that shows off the wood grain.
- Three Tim Shaw-designed V-Mod single-coil pickups, each voiced differently for its position using a blend of alnico magnet types, giving you vintage warmth up front and crisp clarity at the bridge
- Maple neck and fingerboard with the new “Deep C” profile – fuller shoulders that fill the hand for both chord work and lead lines, finished in satin urethane on the back with a glossy headstock face
- 22 narrow-tall frets on a 9.5″ radius fingerboard make note bending and up-the-neck chording feel effortless and stay in tune
- Bone nut for that organic, old-school resonance players associate with early Fenders
- 2-point synchronized tremolo with a pop-in arm that locks securely in place and lets you dial in your preferred tension
- Treble-bleed circuit keeps your high end intact even as you roll back the volume knob
- 25.5″ scale length, 3-ply black pickguard, aged white knobs and switch tip, nickel/chrome hardware, and Fender USA NPS strings (.009-.042)
The 5-position blade switch and SSS configuration give you every classic Strat tone – from glassy neck pickup warmth to the quacky in-between positions to a biting bridge sound – all shaped by controls that include a master volume with treble-bleed and two tone knobs.
This guitar ships with an Elite Molded hardshell case, so it’s ready to travel from the day it arrives.
