Description
The Stratocaster needs no introduction — since 1954 it’s been the reference point for electric guitar tone, and the American Professional model updates that blueprint without losing what made it iconic. Finished here in Sonic Gray with a rosewood board, this Strat is built for players who want vintage soul with modern playability.
At the heart of the guitar are three V-Mod single-coil pickups, designed by pickup specialist Tim Shaw. Rather than using identical coils across the board, each pickup is voiced individually with a specific alnico magnet blend for its position, so bridge, middle, and neck all deliver distinct character while staying true to Fender’s classic sonic signature. A treble-bleed circuit on the volume control keeps top-end detail intact even as you roll back the gain — no more dull, muffled tone at lower volumes.
The neck is carved in a new “Deep C” profile, sitting between a Modern C and a U shape, giving your hand more to hold onto for both chord work and lead lines. Narrow-tall frets make bending accurate and help chords ring true all the way up the neck. A bone nut and the redesigned pop-in tremolo arm — which stays put no matter how aggressively you dig in, and adjusts for tension to suit your feel — round out the playability upgrades.
