Description
If you’ve always loved the way a Strat® feels in your hands, the Standard Stratacoustic lets you carry that comfort over to an acoustic-electric. It’s built around a laminated spruce top with quartersawn “X” bracing, paired with fiberglass back and sides for durability on the road, all finished in gloss black. But the real hook is the neck: a satin-finish maple neck with Fender’s classic “C” profile and a 21-fret walnut fingerboard, so switching between your electric and this guitar feels seamless.
Plugged in, the Fishman® Isys™ III system handles the heavy lifting with an active preamp, onboard volume and tone controls, and a built-in tuner positioned right where you need it during a set change. Graph Tech® NuBone™ is used at both the nut and the compensated bridge saddle, helping sustain and tonal clarity hold up whether you’re playing unplugged at home or through a PA.
Details like the checkerboard rosette, aged white body binding, and oval sound hole give it a distinct look, while the rosewood-based “Viking” bridge and die-cast tuners round out hardware built for everyday reliability. It ships strung with Fender® Dura-Tone™ 880L strings (.012-.052).
