The Fender PM-2 Standard Parlor brings a compact, comfortable body shape together with the tonal seriousness of an all-solid build. Part of the U.S.-designed Paramount series, this guitar draws on classic 1960s appointments—checkerboard binding and rosette, a distinctive pickguard silhouette, and abalone/mother-of-pearl “Concert Tone” fretboard inlays—while delivering a genuinely modern playing experience.
Under the hood, a solid Sitka spruce top pairs with solid mahogany back and sides, braced with quartersawn scalloped “X” bracing for an open, resonant voice that belies its smaller size. The mahogany neck wears a fast “C” profile and rosewood fingerboard across 19 frets on a 24.7″ scale, making it approachable for fingerstyle players and vocalists who want a guitar that sits comfortably rather than fights back.
Plugged in, the guitar relies on a Fender/Fishman-designed PM preamp system voiced specifically for the parlor body, giving you Volume, Tone, and Middle controls alongside onboard tuner and phase switching—useful tools for shaping your sound live or in the studio.
