Description
The Omen Elite-6 takes Schecter’s workhorse Omen platform and dresses it up with a burl top over a mahogany body, finished in a moody Charcoal that shifts character depending on the light. It’s an arched-top design with black 1-ply binding tying the whole look together, so it reads as a step above your typical bolt-on.
Playability is where this guitar earns its keep. The Thin ‘C’ shape maple neck is fast and comfortable under the hand, measuring .787″ at the 1st fret and opening up to .866″ by the 12th, paired with a 14″ fretboard radius that keeps chords and bends equally accessible. 24 X-Jumbo frets run the length of the rosewood board, dressed with pearloid line inlays, and a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (1.653″ wide) helps keep tuning stable and tone clear.
Under the hood sit a matched set of Schecter Diamond Heretic pickups in the neck and bridge, wired to a straightforward Volume/Tone/5-Way Switch layout with metal knurled knobs. The Schecter Custom Hardtail bridge strings through the body for extra sustain and a firmer connection between string and wood. Black hardware and Schecter’s own tuners round out the build, all mounted on a 25.5″ scale bolt-on neck with a 2-way adjustable truss rod.
