Description
The E-1 SLS Elite represents Schecter’s no-compromise approach to high-performance solid body design. At its core is a neck-thru-body construction joining swamp ash wings to a 7-ply maple/walnut/padauk neck, reinforced with carbon fiber for added stability and an ultra-thin C-shape profile that invites fast playing. The 25.5″ scale ebony fingerboard carries 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets, giving you smooth bending room and long-lasting durability.
Tone comes courtesy of a matched set of Fishman Modern humbuckers, each wired with push-pull pots for individual dual-voice switching. That means single-coil sparkle and humbucker punch are both on tap, letting the guitar move fluidly from clean, articulate passages to searing high-gain leads without missing a beat.
Hardware was chosen with tuning stability in mind: Schecter locking tuners keep strings anchored, an Ernie Ball compensated nut improves intonation accuracy, and the TonePros T3BT/T1Z Tune-O-Matic bridge system locks everything down tight for consistent performance night after night.
Visually, the E-1 SLS Elite doesn’t hold back. A flame-maple top and matching headcap sit under the Black Fade Burst finish, accented by abalone side-dot markers, offset abalone fingerboard inlays, and ivory binding wrapping both body and neck. Flip it over and you’ll find a contrasting natural pearl finish on the back and sides.
