The Damien Platinum-7 Left Handed brings Schecter’s extended-range platform to southpaw players who don’t want to settle for a mirrored budget model. This is a purpose-built 7-string with a set-neck design and Ultra Access heel carve, giving left-handed players real reach into the upper frets without fighting the joint.
- Mahogany body with an arched top and silver/platinum multi-ply binding for a cleaner, more upscale look than the name might suggest
- 3-piece maple neck with a Thin ‘C’ profile, topped with a rosewood fretboard and platinum bat inlays
- 26.5″ scale length and 24 X-Jumbo frets on a 16″ radius board, tuned for tension and comfort across all seven strings
- 1.889″ Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut and a 2-way adjustable truss rod for reliable setup and adjustment over time
Power comes from an EMG 81-7 in the bridge and EMG 85-7 in the neck — the classic high-output active pairing for tight low end and searing lead tone, run through a simple volume/tone/3-way switch layout with a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment. A Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-thru-body construction anchors sustain, Grover tuners keep things locked in tune, and satin chrome hardware ties the whole build together under the satin black finish.
Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 7 strings (.010-.056) come installed from the factory, sized appropriately for the extended scale. Built in South Korea. Note: case is sold separately.
