The A.C.E designation stands for Acoustic/Cutaway/Electric, and that cutaway isn’t just for looks — it opens up access to the upper end of the 19-fret ovangkol fingerboard, marked with Gretsch’s signature snowflake inlays. Under the hood, a Fishman Kula pickup and preamp system handles the electric side, making this a genuine stage-ready instrument rather than just a novelty piece.

Tonewood choices lean toward warmth and sustain: a solid quartersawn mahogany top pairs with mahogany back and sides and a one-piece mahogany neck, giving the G9126 a rounded, woody voice suited to fingerstyle and strummed arrangements alike.
