Underneath the flash is a genuinely musical instrument. The single-cutaway hollow body features an arched laminated maple top with oversized bound f-holes, opening up into a rich, resonant voice. A two-piece maple neck carries an ebony fingerboard with Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays and a 12″ radius, staying comfortable across all 22 frets. Dual TV Jones Classic pickups deliver the twang, chime, and warmth this model is famous for, routed through a 3-position pickup toggle plus independent volume controls for neck and bridge, a master volume, and a 3-position master tone switch for shaping high-frequency roll-off.
Gold-plated hardware finishes the look, including Grover Imperial die-cast tuners, a pinned rosewood-based Adjusto-Matic bridge, and a Bigsby B6G vibrato tailpiece with a flat handle for smooth, expressive pitch bends. The V-shaped Falcon headstock displays a gold-sparkle horizontal Gretsch logo, while the gold plexi pickguard carries the signature Falcon motif.
