The G6120 is the guitar that put Filter’Tron pickups and Bigsby vibrato on the map, and this Professional Collection version keeps that DNA fully intact. Built on the Nashville-shaped body — 16″ wide, 2.5″ deep, with laminated maple back, sides, and arched top — it delivers the airy, resonant hollow-body voice that made Chet Atkins country-picking and rockabilly players reach for this shape decade after decade. Bound oversized F-holes and multiple layers of body binding give it that unmistakable finished look under the orange stain gloss urethane finish.
The maple neck carries an ebony fingerboard bound in its own binding, with Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays marking the 22 frets across a 12″ radius. Scale length sits at 24.6″, nut width at 1.6875″, so chord work and single-note runs both feel at home. A curly maple headstock overlay and horseshoe inlay round out the vintage-correct styling touches.
Tonally, dual High Sensitive Filter’Tron pickups handle bridge, neck, or combined positions via a 3-way toggle, backed by individual volumes for each pickup plus a master volume and a 3-position master tone switch for dialing in roll-off character. Hardware is gold-plated throughout, including Grover Rotomatic die-cast tuners, a rosewood-based Adjusto-Matic bridge, and the Bigsby B6G vibrato tailpiece with its flat handle for smooth pitch dives and shimmer.
