The Godin MultiAc Nylon Encore 7 brings classical-guitar warmth to players who live on electric stages. Its chambered silver leaf maple body and solid cedar top are voiced to project a rich, woody nylon-string character while resisting the squeal and boom that plague most amplified nylon guitars at loud volumes.
Custom EPM electronics give you real control over that sound. The Blendable Dual Source System combines an under-saddle transducer with an acoustic soundboard transducer, and a set of volume, treble, mid, bass and blend sliders lets you dial in everything from a natural, intimate acoustic voice to a punchy, cutting live tone that sits well in a full band mix.
Steel-string electric players will feel right at home on the neck: the 25 1/2″ scale and 1 7/8″ nut width are noticeably more familiar than a traditional classical neck, easing the transition to nylon strings without sacrificing playing comfort. A 16″ fingerboard radius adds to that electric-guitar feel.
