Description
This is a lightly used demo unit of the American Professional Telecaster, finished in a striking Crimson Red Transparent over an ash body with a rosewood fingerboard. It’s played and handled but in excellent shape, ready to deliver the tone and feel Fender engineered into this modern classic.
At the heart of the guitar are Tim Shaw’s V-Mod single-coil pickups, each voiced independently for its position using a proprietary mix of alnico magnets. The result is that signature Fender snap and clarity, with a bit more output and warmth layered in. A treble-bleed circuit keeps your tone crisp even as you roll back the volume, so nothing gets lost when you back off for a cleaner rhythm sound.
The neck carries Fender’s “Deep C” profile, a shape that sits comfortably between Modern C and U contours, giving your hand more to grip without feeling bulky. Narrow-tall frets make bending and fretting up the neck feel precise, and a bone nut adds a touch of vintage authenticity to the top end.
Underneath, the redesigned three-saddle bridge uses compensated brass barrel saddles for better intonation than the old-school Tele setup, wrapped in a slimmed-down ashtray cover that won’t get in the way of your palm muting.
