The PowerTap Earth is Fishman’s answer for acoustic players who want more than just a clean amplified tone. It pairs the trusted Rare Earth soundhole humbucker with a newly designed Tap body sensor, giving you access to percussive textures, room ambience, and tactile playing dynamics that a standard magnetic pickup can’t capture on its own.
A discreet Blend control, mounted right on the pickup housing, lets you mix the Rare Earth and Tap signals together into a single mono output. Prefer more control? Switch to a stereo cable and the system automatically routes each pickup to its own channel, so you can run separate EQ, effects, or levels on the humbucker and body sensor independently.
