Description
The Fender FA-100 is built for players who want real acoustic tone without a steep learning curve or a steep price tag. Its dreadnought body pairs a spruce top with X-bracing against basswood back and sides, giving you a full, resonant voice that fills out nicely whether you’re strumming chords or picking through a melody. A gloss polyurethane finish and multiple body bindings give it a clean, classic look in Natural.
Up the neck, you’ll find a maple neck with a comfortable “C” shape and a laminated hardwood fingerboard housing 20 vintage-style frets and pearloid dot inlays. The dual-action truss rod keeps things adjustable over time, while the synthetic bone nut and compensated bone saddle on the rosewood bridge help with tuning stability and intonation. Die-cast tuning machines and chrome hardware round out a build that’s more refined than you’d expect at this level.
Fender didn’t skip the details that make an acoustic feel like an acoustic, either: the exclusive Fender headstock shape, matching pickguard, and a factory-mounted forward strap button with internal block reinforcement so you can strap up and go without worrying about long-term wear.
