Description
The Redondo Classic makes a statement before you even strum a chord. Finished in Hot Rod Red Metallic with contrasting natural mahogany back and sides, koa binding, and a matching painted 6-in-line headstock, it’s built to be seen as much as heard. That distinctive shape isn’t just cosmetic — the exclusive slope-shouldered Redondo body delivers a bold, room-filling voice with plenty of low-end push and chime up top.
Under the hood, Fender optimized the internal bracing to shave mass and open up resonance, while a bone nut and saddle add clarity and sustain you won’t get from synthetic parts. The solid Sitka spruce top pairs with solid mahogany back and sides for a warm, complex tone that holds up whether you’re fingerpicking or strumming hard on stage.
Speaking of stage: the Redondo Classic comes loaded with a Fender/Fishman preamp system tuned specifically for this body shape, so plugging into a PA or amp keeps the guitar’s natural character intact rather than flattening it out. Onboard volume, bass, treble, tuner, and phase controls put tone-shaping right at your fingertips.
The mahogany neck wears a slim “C” profile that feels quick and comfortable across styles, capped with a pau ferro fingerboard and matching bridge for added warmth and definition. A gig bag is included for getting to and from the gig without hassle.
