Description
The CD-60S All-Mahogany takes Fender’s best-selling dreadnought and swaps in a solid mahogany top, trading the typical spruce brightness for a darker, earthier tone that only gets richer as it ages. Paired with laminated mahogany back and sides, it’s built for players who want a guitar that sounds a little more vintage and a little less glassy right out of the case.
Comfort is baked into the design via Fender’s ‘Easy-to-Play’ neck, which uses rolled fingerboard edges to soften the feel under your fretting hand – a nice touch for beginners still building calluses and for anyone who just wants a guitar that disappears into the background so the music can take over. Whether it’s living by the couch, riding along to the beach, or getting passed around at a coffeehouse jam, this is a grab-and-go instrument that doesn’t demand babying.
