Description
The CD-60CE takes Fender’s classic dreadnought cutaway shape and dresses it up with details usually reserved for pricier guitars. A laminated spruce top sits atop nato back and sides, all held together with scalloped X bracing that lets the top breathe for a fuller, more resonant sound whether you’re strumming at home or plugging in on stage.
Look closely and you’ll spot the upgrades: a black pickguard, a mother-of-pearl acrylic rosette, white bridge pins with black dots, and smaller 3mm dot inlays running along the rosewood fingerboard. The cutaway body shape opens up easy access to all 20 frets, while a dual-action truss rod keeps the nato neck stable and true over time.
Plugging in is simple thanks to the onboard Fishman Isys III system, which includes a built-in chromatic tuner alongside volume, bass, mid, and treble controls — everything you need to shape your tone straight from the guitar. Chrome die-cast tuners keep things in tune, and Fender’s own Dura-Tone coated 80/20 bronze strings (.012-.052) come installed from the factory for bright, long-lasting tone.
