The Celebrity Elite CE48 carries forward Ovation’s signature multi-soundhole design in a Super Shallow Lyrachord body, finished here in a striking transparent Ruby Red. Its solid spruce top pairs with the Elite soundhole layout to deliver crisp highs and tight, controlled lows, while a quartersawn scalloped “X” bracing pattern — refined from Ovation’s earlier designs — adds projection, note clarity, and a layered tonal complexity that suits both strumming and fingerstyle playing.
White binding trims the top, and the neck is finished in a smooth satin for effortless movement up and down the fretboard. That rosewood board has a comfortable 10″ radius and 20 accessible frets (extending to 24 on the high E), dressed with Pearloid inlays and paired with a rosewood bridge. Amplification comes from an Ovation Slimline undersaddle piezo pickup wired to the OP-4BT preamp, which puts 3-band EQ, volume/gain, an onboard tuner, and a low-battery indicator right at your fingertips on stage or in the studio.
