The solid cedar top pairs with Ovation’s signature multi-soundhole layout to deliver clear top-end detail and a bass response that stays tight and balanced rather than boomy, while laser-cut epaulets add note-to-note articulation you can hear even in a mix.
The body is Ovation’s Lyrachord composite bowl in a mid-depth profile, finished in aged natural high-gloss lacquer. It’s built to feel at ease whether you’re seated with it in your lap or strapped in and standing at a gig, and it projects well without needing to be pushed hard.
Up the neck, a satin finish meets a 400mm-radiused Ovangkol fretboard and matching bridge saddle, keeping the playing feel smooth and fast across the fretboard. For amplification, Ovation fits the Slimline pickup with an OP-4CT preamp offering:
