Description
This isn’t your grandfather’s banjo uke. The Outdoor Banjolele™ swaps wood and hide for injection-molded carbon fiber composite polycarbonate, formed in steel molds under intense heat and pressure. The carbon strands align into a natural grain structure during molding, which boosts both durability and acoustic response – so it doesn’t just survive the elements, it actually sounds good doing it.
At its heart is a full-size 11″ Remo™ clear banjo head paired with radial bracing and an internal stainless steel tensioning system, giving you adjustable head tightness and a punchy, resonant tone. The tenor neck carries 19 frets and a 17″ scale length, with a 1.5″ nut width that feels familiar in the hand. A through-hole bridge with horn-shaped slots handles string termination with single-point precision, letting strings glide unstrained into the gold-plated geared tuning machines.
It comes strung with D’Addario Pro-Arté Fluorocarbon strings and ships with a chord sheet and a reusable box for storage or travel.
