Description
The Guild Westerly D-120 delivers the big, woody punch that dreadnought players expect, thanks to a solid African mahogany top, back, and sides. That all-mahogany construction gives it a warm, midrange-forward tone with plenty of low-end thump, while the Sitka spruce scalloped X-brace keeps the top responsive under both strumming and fingerstyle attack.
Vintage touches abound: a 1960s-style Chesterfield headstock emblem, tortoiseshell pickguard, and a black/white striped rosette with a mother-of-pearl ring give it real character on stage or in the studio. The neck carries a comfortable C shape with a 1 3/4″ nut width, topped with an Indian rosewood fingerboard, mother-of-pearl dot inlays, and a NuBone nut and saddle for clear, articulate note definition.
