Description
The G5021E Rancher Penguin Parlor takes one of Gretsch’s most flamboyant body styles and shrinks it down into a compact, comfortable parlor frame without losing any of the visual swagger. Finished in Mint Metallic and dressed in gold sparkle binding, gold hardware, and a gold plexi pickguard, this guitar was built to be seen as much as heard.
Under the shine sits genuine tonewood: a solid spruce top paired with laminated maple back and sides for a bright, focused voice with plenty of projection for its size. A mahogany neck runs into a 12″ radius laurel fingerboard, fitted with 20 vintage-style frets and pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, while a synthetic bone nut and laurel bridge round out the acoustic foundation.
For the stage, Gretsch wired in a Fishman Presys III pickup and preamp system, complete with an onboard tuner, so you can plug straight into a PA or amp without fuss. Deluxe die-cast tuners keep things stable through hard-charging sets, and the vertical wing Gretsch headstock logo, rendered in gold sparkle, is unmistakable from the back row.
